Guest Worship Leader - Bethany Wohrle

Baptism
We're excited to be hosting our next water baptism on Sunday, April 14th! Water baptism is simply an outward sign of what God has done on the INSIDE of you and signifies and declares that you are no longer who you used to be-- you have been made righteous by the blood of Jesus! This is also a great time to invite your family and friends to church as we celebrate all that God has done in your life. Easter 2024
Easter Sunday is coming up on March 31st, and we’re excited to welcome guests into our family as we lift up the Name of Jesus and invite people to come to know HIM! As always, we’ll have free family photos and amazing ministry for your kids as well. Invite someone along and let’s be expectant for God to move in power this Resurrection Sunday!✝️

One Service
With so many of our families going out of town for Spring Break trips, we will be having ONE service on Sunday, March 10th at 9am only– make sure to mark your calendars and join us! Nursery and children’s classes will be happening as usual, but there will be no Junior High Discipleship class. We can’t wait to see everyone!

Family Dinner
We’re excited to announce that our next Family Dinner is coming up on Sunday, February 4th from 6-7:30pm! If you’re new to RLC, Family Dinner is a time for everyone to come together and share a meal, have a little fun and hear about our heart and vision for the future! It’s a great chance to meet people as well, and first time guests are always free! If you’ve been before, it’s $20 per person to cover the cost of food. We also provide childcare for babies through 5th graders (and dinner for them too!), so sign up by clicking the link below – we hope to see you there!

RLC Media Internship
In addition to our general internship RLC Internship, we also now have a Media Internship as well! This opportunity focuses on photography, video, social media and requires 15 hours per week January-May. If you’re interested, apply online at the link below!
No Service
We’re giving all of our staff and volunteers the opportunity to rest and be with their families on Christmas Eve Sunday, so we won’t have any church services at either campus on Sunday, December 24th! Read the story of Jesus with your families, take extra time to rest, and spend some time loving and giving to others as we gear up for the new year! We’ll see everyone on December 31st at 9 or 11am!🎉

Prophetic Workshop with Ben Armstrong
We’re excited to be hosting Ben Armstrong for a Prophetic Service on December 16th! Ben is the Overseer of Prophetic Ministry at Bethel Church in Redding, California, where he and his wife, Heather, both serve as pastors. Through teaching and preaching, Ben equips people with the skills and tools they need to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth. He has a passion to see individuals fully equipped in living a prophetic lifestyle, as well as walking in the revelatory gifts. Ben has a passion for the pursuit of God’s presence, seeing worship reach new heavenly realms, dreams and interpretation, healing, and living a prophetic lifestyle. RLKids is excited to be hosting our first annual “Christmas Connect” on Saturday, December 2nd, from 10-11:30am! $5 per child who participates. Angel Tree Sunday
If you’re looking for a way to bless those in need this Christmas season, RLC has been given the privilege this year to partner with Prison Fellowship Angel Tree Ministries! This is outreach that equips churches to extend the love of Jesus to families who have loved ones in prison by providing Christmas gifts for children on behalf of the incarcerated parent. Last year, we were able to bless 75 children in Lubbock and surrounding areas who have at least one parent in prison, and this year we want to do even more! Our Angel Tree will be set up in the church foyer on Sunday, November 26th & Sunday, December 3rd, and you’ll be able to choose a card and buy gifts for that specific child. All gifts will need to be brought to the church office by December 10th, and the recipients will come and pick them up! Let’s truly be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community this Christmas season!❤️🎄

No Service
Summer is coming to a close, but there is one more long weekend to celebrate at the pool or cooking out with family and friends! This Labor Day, September 3rd, we will not be having services at either campus to give our families and volunteer teams a full weekend off. We’ll resume church on September 10th, so make plans to join us then!

Hey Parents! Move Up Sunday is happening on August 6th – this is the day that your kids will “move up” to the next class if it’s time! This is always an exciting day for our kids, so mark your calendars now!🗓️

We are excited and honored to welcome Chris Hart as our special guest speaker Sunday, April 2nd! Chris is the founder of the “Brave Group Coaching” and has an extensive ministry background from pastoring for 15 years to working internationally in hostile countries. He is also the Chaplain for the Oral Roberts University Athletic Department and seeks to see people consistently optimize their lives personally and professionally!
